If your order has already shipped, any cancellations will be considered a "return". Refunds are less actual shipping & handling at the buyer's expense. You can return the item within 7 days, all item must be in perfect condition and in the original packaging. You must notify us to obtain a Return Authorization#. Without an RA#, your shipment will be refused. Actual freight cost may be much higher than the freight we charge you on the website. Please contact us for more information regarding specific actual shipping quotes. Once we receive the return, we will refund your payment minus 10% restocking fee and shipping cost. All items that are not properly packaged or damaged will be refused.
Special order items and factory direct shipped orders are not returnable. Please contact us to find out if your order is shipping direct from the factory's warehouse. No returns allowed if buyer has assembled product previously.
Many items we sell are too large or too heavy to ship using a Small Parcel carrier. Therefore, our best option is to ship it to you using a common carrier. Truck freight is different than standard UPS, FedEx or US Mail in that you will be responsible for carrying the product from the back of the truck into your house (or wherever it's going). Truck Freight also differs from Small Parcel in that, for residential deliveries, you will be contacted by the shipping carrier to schedule a delivery appointment. Most companies offer appointment windows (usually 2-4 hours) between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm EST, Monday through Friday.
Our delivery company will notify you in advance of their arrival. We (warehousedirectusa.com) will not guarantee or choose arrival date & time. Please be sure to have someone available to receive and inspect your merchandise. Driver is not allowed into the home and generally there is only one driver and he will not have dollies or tools necessary to move furniture. Please make all necessary arrangements to take possession of the furniture at the truck. If you are ordering a very large item, please keep in mind that you may need a couple of people to help unload it.
The most important thing to remember about truck freight is that you MUST inspect the package(s) at the time of delivery. If the box has any damage, or if there is any reason for you to be at all concerned about damage, please write "PRODUCT DAMAGED" clearly on the sheet that they ask you to sign. This simply insures that if there is any damage, it will be easy to take care of the problem.
If the shipment arrives damaged customer must refuse the damaged box only. Please do not refuse the entire freight. We will send your replacement item immediately.
It is imperative that you make a claim of any damage or defect immediately upon delivery by noting the problem on the carrier's Bill of Lading. Please verify that the correct item and number or cartons have been delivered, and inspect your furniture carefully while the delivery person is still at your home, before signing your delivery Bill of Lading receipt. You signature is your acknowledgment that your merchandise is satisfactory and is in order.
Any claim of damage that is not noted on the Bill of Lading is your responsibility to pursue directly with the Trucking Company. If you do not have time to inspect your shipment when the driver delivers it, it necessary to note on the delivery receipt any dents, dings , holes or damages to the outer packaging in the drivers presence. If any item is refused for any reason at all, all freight charges incurred are not refundable and a 10% restocking fee will apply. Whenever possible we will ship smaller, lighter items via UPS, FEDEX or USPS. These companies provide the fastest and most reliable method of shipping available for many items we sell. Depending on how close you are to the shipping warehouse, your item will arrive between 2 to 10 business days after it leaves the warehouse. We do not require an adult signature for deliveries, but please note that the decision to leave your package without a signature is at the discretion of the delivery person. If you want an item left at your doorstep, the best thing to do is leave a note on your door asking the driver to leave your package with "No Signature Required." Be sure to include your name and tracking number on the note.
White Glove Service:
Our delivery agent will bring your items inside of your home instead of the curbside delivery. Depending on a level of service, our delivery agent can perform minor assembly to fully assembly. Flat packed knock down furniture will not apply. We do not offer White Glove Service through ebay.
When Will My Order Arrive?
To provide you with the greatest selection on the internet, we ship from varies warehouses all over the country. Each lead time varies based on many different factors. In general your order will be processed to ship out within 4-10 business days. For Truck Freight/Ground shipments, delivery usually takes between 7 to 14 days from the time your order ships. The white glove assembly deliveries will take approximate 3 to 5 weeks. For all deliveries, you will be contacted for an appointment as soon as your order arrives at the local shipping terminal.
